When the call came in from our clients, it wasn't just about redecorating a space; it was a plea to infuse their home with warmth and character. Their apartment in the prestigious 130 William building developed by Ghanaian-British architect Sir David Adjaye, though sleek and modern, lacked the personal touch that transforms a house into a home. As they expressed their desire to banish the sterile "white box" feeling that permeated the rooms, we knew this project would be a labor of love.

At Sarah Baderna Studio, our Italian roots are the foundation of our design philosophy, deeply connected to the rich heritage of Italian craftsmanship. It was only natural that we would draw upon this legacy to breathe life into the interiors of 130 William. Many pieces were sourced directly from Italy, each carrying a story of tradition and artistry, infusing the space with an unmistakable sense of elegance.

To soften the starkness of the white walls, we introduced paint and wallpaper to create pockets of lush serenity, while carefully curated art pieces served as focal points, injecting personality and soul into every corner.

Amidst the whirlwind of transforming their home, the clients received news that filled their hearts with joy: they were expecting a new addition to their family. With excitement and anticipation, we also set out to design a nursery that would be a sanctuary of comfort and love for their little one.
