This private residence is located in the beautiful countryside near Piacenza, Italy: the villa reflects a quintessential Italian style, seamlessly blending traditional charm with modern elegance. The design incorporates a curated selection of modern pieces, which are balanced by the warmth and history of vintage furniture, creating a timeless atmosphere.

Iconic vases like the Venini ones are strategically placed, adding splashes of color and a nod to classic Italian glass artistry. Throughout the space, high-quality materials, such as marble and wood, are complemented by intricate details and handcrafted elements, embodying the craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Italian design is renowned.

 

The biggest challenge was adding additional living space, transforming a 2-cars garage with very little amount of natural light that was able to filter through the windows and the low ceilings. We decided to play with a lot of neutral tones and we collaborated with the best local craftsmen: our goal was to achieve a deep sense of calm throughout the whole space.

 

The result is a sophisticated yet comfortable environment that captures the essence of Italy's rich design heritage while embracing contemporary aesthetics.
